Welcome back to sale to this stunning 1957 LHD 11 Window Splitscreen. We had the pleasure of selling this very shiny example to the current owners after it had a full restoration who have now decided they have finished their adventures with her after many memories were made.

It has changed only slightly since we last saw it. Its charm is captivating enough that they didn’t want to make too many adaptations. In a previous life before it was converted it lived life as a wedding transport vehicle. The rear has been converted into a bespoke camping interior.

It has had a tiny bit of modernisation for comfortability. This includes power steering fitted to make the driving experience more gentle and a modern stereo with bluetooth connectivity. There is also a carbon monoxide alarm and fire extinguisher for safety purposes.

Inside it has a twin wardrobe and a deep cupboard, a ‘Rock n Roll’ bed for ease of use with more storage underneath, 3 more cupboards and a removable table for extra room if not required, a 2 way fridge with a small freezer compartment, a stainless steel sink and twin gas hob, 240v main hookup and a split charge leisure battery and a 3 seater bench in the front.

Onto the exterior, it has the classic split screen safari windows, 6 polished stainless pop outs with “deep spoon” catches to the 2 rears, a narrow rear hatch and complete for those camping explorations it also includes a limited edition “star gazer” drive away awning with ground sheet, connecting canopy and pole kit.

Sitting on 2568k Miles it is a very low mileage example that is ready to be unleashed with its air cooled flat four engine. 

It is classed as a ‘Historic Vehicle’ making it Tax and MOT exempt.
