From a full respray and body restoration to a new engine, gearbox and suspension, everything has been thoughtfully upgraded to blend period charm with reliable usability. The restoration was carried out by experienced hands, including a full rebuild and respray by Dave from Car SOS, with a full custom interior created by the team at Studley Campers.
Inside, the camper has been transformed into a warm and welcoming space. The bespoke cabinetry and fold-down table make clever use of space, while the 3/4 width rock ‘n’ roll bed offers a comfy spot to crash at the end of the day. There’s a dual hob for cooking, a leisure battery system with USB points and 240v sockets, and an integrated diesel heater to keep things cosy in all seasons. The soft brown faux leather upholstery adds a touch of luxury, complemented by Orla Kiely curtains that nod to the van’s retro roots.
Up top, the Devon pop-top roof with skylight lets in the breeze and adds valuable standing room — ideal for longer trips. Outside, the van features alloy side steps, a roof rack, and a front-mounted spare wheel for that classic West Coast aesthetic.
