On the 1st March 1979 Harry Law arrived at Parker & Parker Ltd in Kendal, Cumbria, his local Volkswagen dealer to collect his brand new Volkswagen T2 Devon Moonraker for the sum of £5775.00 including the 2litre engine package, number plates, delivery, "Endrust", treatment & road fund licence. Harry looked after his new camper meticulously as have the following 3 owners it had in its 45 years.

The service history & original instructions and handbooks are complete & amazing. This is honestly one of the most complete & original Devon campervans you'll find, it still has its original carpet, which poppers around the edge to secure it & underneath that is the original vinyl floor. Just look at the fabric on the seats, it is just perfect, even on the two buddy seats.

Everything is there, as it left the Sidmouth factory all those years ago. Throughout the cabinets you get so much storage & housed within these are your cool box, sink with foot pump, "Fellows" gas hob & grill etc. The cab seat still wears the seat covers made from matching fabric to the rear section.

These are over the original brown basket weave vinyl seats.

Pop the elevating roof up to reveal the perfect original Devon striped vinyl with its two original hammocks that still wear their original fabric & encapsulated in the white vinyl covers where even the poppers are all there & undamaged.

So this is a 4 berth, stunning '70's timecapsule, offering 4 belted seats, dining for 4 around the removable table, sleeping for 4 with a double rock'n'roll bed & 2 hammocks & powered by a smooth 2litre engine. This bus is such a superb example, though packed with period charm is such a usable camper for the family to love & enjoy.

Tax and MOT exempt and ready to roll.

You can enjoy being only the 5th owner in its lifetime for just £24,000.
