If you're looking for a real head turner, meet our new arrival. This gorgeous inside and out 1975 Red Bay Window Camper is ready to roll and we doubt it will hang around long. 

This bay sports a Van Wurks interior and leisure battery power system (PMS 3H). She has a full camping ready set up including stainless steel sink, two gas burners and fridge utilities. 

There are plenty of storage areas, a high rise pop top roof and a full width rock and roll bed to make your living experience more spacious and comfortable. The pop top roof was replaced in 2024.

The front and rear seats were re-upholstered in 2024 which certainly adds to the quality of this bay. She originally started life as an orange and white bay window but now sports her very tidy and eye-catching red and white exterior. Paired in with the contrast of the black and off white upholstery and polka dot red curtains (introduced in 2024) does make for a fantastic colourway. 

She has plenty of service history to flip through upon request but some of the recent highlights include:

New recon 1.6L engine in 2022,

New MP5 spoke alloys,

New tow bar,

New rear brakes,

And both front tyres were replaced in 2024.

Up front we find matching seats to the rear, the addition of cupholders to the front cab, and a Scat shifter, a popular aftermarket gear lever designed for classic, air-cooled Volkswagens like the Beetle, Karmann Ghia, and Type 2 Bus. It replaces the factory shifter to dramatically reduce shift throw distance, offering a much firmer, more precise, and sports-car-like feel. The interior up front is very smart and clean and is very comfy for long cruises in the summer sun.

Tax class is historic vehicle meaning it is Tax and MOT exempt. It does however hold an MOT certificate until 22nd August 2026 and has no advisories listed.
