Now this, this is style.
It’s class.
It is truly a Porsche.
Sitting in an extremely well presented Meissen Blue it is a beauty without even needing to try. The best part? It drives like an absolute dream. You will be the absolute belle of the ball (or car of the show) although it is lovely for touring also.
It is ready to be immediately driven out of the showroom, perhaps take a tour of the moors on your way home from us and straight to your manor house (or small country cottage is where I can picture it living its best life).
Living life from 1957 in the US of A it arrived on British land in July 1991.
The current owner had it for 16 years where they have heavily invested into it over the years. The paperwork is something to behold telling a story of thousands of pounds spent.
The floor pans and associated structures were renewed in 2017 followed by a £15,000.00 engine build in 2019 by Williams Crawford Restoration.
The new leather seat covers to match the rest of the interior were fitted 4 years ago that nicely match the biscuit weave carpets.
£35,000.00+ and 9 months later the restoration and paint was completed by Sportwagen Ltd.
The previous history suggests that it has seen a couple of other colours in its life starting life as a factory silver metallic colour then to a grey and now it sits tidily in its Meissen Blue.
A T1, manufactured in July 1957 (shortly before the T2 changes). The engine is a correct Type 616/6 air cooled 1 571cc 4 cylinder from 1957.
Available to view and test drive from our North Devon Showroom.
